It’s officially winter – and that means seasonal sickness is on the rise as we spend more time indoors and with others during the holidays. And while that runny nose may simply be a reaction to the cold, dry air – if paired with fever and body aches, you may have contracted a cold, flu, RSV, COVID or norovirus.

If you’re experiencing symptoms, please let us know so we can help you on your way to recovery. Contact our office (505-670-1976) or your provider directly; we may set up a telehealth visit or ask you to come to the office. Symptoms of concern include:

  • Cough

  • Congestion

  • Sore throat

  • Body aches

  • Fever

If you are experiencing shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, contact your provider immediately.

New Drive-Up Testing

For quicker diagnosis and to help minimize the risk of contagion, we have a new system for drive-up testing: When you enter our parking lot, you’ll see an A-frame sign with instructions. Call us from your car (505-391-5653) and a nurse or medical assistant will meet you there.

Winter weather can be tough on the immune system, so wash your hands frequently, stay hydrated, mask if necessary, eat well and ask your provider about vaccination.
